Great Adventures Specialty Camps!
Our Great Adventures specialty camps are designed specifically for our oldest Great Adventures Campers. Arrival and dismissal will still be in the Early Childhood building for added continuity, but activity time and lunch will be in the Lower and Middle Schools building. These classes will be open to children who are eligible to attend Senior Kindergarten in the fall of 2012, or will be five years old by October 31. Campers in these programs will also have a rest time and a pool time in the afternoon.

Junior Sports Stars by FitKids
3-5 year olds
Session 1 June 11 to June 15 Fee $390
Session 9 August 27 to August 31 Fee $390
This one week program is specially offered by our good friends from Fit Kids. Campers will spend the week playing and learning different sports and games. Specific activities will include t-ball, tennis, soccer, tug-o-war, relay races, and much more. Teamwork and good sportsmanship are stressed. The majority of this program will be outside and in the Main Gym. Campers will have the chance to swim every day weather permitting.

Session 2 June 18 to June 22 Fee $390
Let us explore the world through our own classroom laboratory! We will try out different themed experiments by discovering through doing. We will also embark on two different field trips off campus during the week! Get ready for some fun as we bring museums and local attractions to life!

Session 3 June 25 to June 29 Fee $390
Saddle up for a rompin’, stompin’ ride through the Wild West! In this exciting new program, campers will get a taste of being home on the range while cooking a meal over a camp fire, making bandanas, and learning about cacti. They will even take a trip to our stables to learn about a ranch hand’s favorite equine companions. This camp will be sure to have kids saying “Yee Haw!”
Clowning Around

Session 4 July 2 to July 6* Fee $390
Fix your face paint; we’ve got some fun to do! Shake your sillies out as we explore the circus and learn about the different performers, animals, and scrumptious snacks under the big top. Campers will learn to perform simple magic tricks, skillful balancing acts, and some classic clown gags. A sense of humor is required!

Session 5 July 9 to July 20 Fee $780
See how learning can be fun in this interactive, academic program! Campers will engage in relay races, art activities, and games to reinforce letter sounds and numbers. This combination of fine and gross motor skills is perfect preparation for your rising Kindergartener.
Congo Chefs: Super Snacks

Session 6 July 23 to August 3 Fee $780
Hungry? Find the treats to eat in between meals in our Congo kitchen! Campers will learn how to make a mix of sweets and healthy eats they can make at home with little to no cooking required. Add some fun to your menu with salty/sweet spiders, power-packed trail mix, and scrumptious fruit smoothies. These recipes are perfect for kids to make for playdates, parties, or just a day around the house.
Toy Chest Extravaganza

Session 7 August 6 to August 17 Fee $780
Climb into a world of fun and make believe as we open up our toy chest! In this camp, children will be challenged to find new, imaginative uses for everyday items around the home, as well as have a chance to make some of their own classic toys. Campers will learn how to make their own sidewalk chalk, silly putty, super strong bubble mix, and a variety of different playdoughs to bring home.
Games & Sports by FitKids

Session 8 August 20 to August 24 Fee $380
Campers will be moving and laughing to nonstop excitement and a fun filled two weeks of games. Loads of equipment and different activities each day to include wacky games (parachutes, relay races, tug of war, hoops, balls, etc.) and multi sports (basketball, soccer, T-ball, gymnastics, floor hockey, frisbees). Come join the fun!
