Students will practice review key mathematics concepts participating in a variety of activities to develop logical thinking. Using project based learning, the STEM portion of the program will help students gain a better grasp of deductive reasoning and promote critical and creative thinking strategies.

Junior Sports Stars by FitKids

This one-week summer camp program is specially offered by our good friends from Fit Kids. Campers will spend the week playing and learning different sports and games. Specific activities will include t-ball, tennis, soccer, tug-o-war, relay races, and much more. Teamwork and good sportsmanship are stressed. The majority of this program will be outside and in the Main Gym. Campers will have the chance to swim every day weather permitting.

Dream it, design it, build it! Using award-winning recycled cardboard-based construction systems, hand-tools, imagination, and problem-solving skills, the possibilities are endless. Skilled Handwork Studio counselors challenge campers to explore architectural concepts, gain a deeper understanding of spatial relationships, and experiment to bring structures from their minds to reality. Each week, campers have the opportunity to develop new skills and tackle new challenges with our rotating curriculum of projects. Explore hand-sewing, embroidery, knitting, weaving, needle-felting and more by creating fun, one-of-a-kind fiber arts projects. Campers are guided by The Handwork Studio’s patient and skilled counselors to embrace their imagination and harness their potential through creation. Fiber Arts Camp meets each camper where they are on their creative journey, whether they are first-time creators or returners. Join Coach Krauss and his staff on Congressional’s baseball diamond for a fun week of baseball. From hitting and fielding fundamentals, to the finer aspects of the games, players will take their skills to the next level in a safe and supportive environment. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to join us this summer. Helmets, bats, and cleats are encouraged but not necessary. Baseball gloves are required.

Modeled after our Great Adventures program, campers will maintain their cohorts and participate in art, science, and cooking projects, as an example and will get plenty of time in the pool and on the playground!

In an effort to maintain our cohorts throughout the summer, we will be having this 1 week session for our school students.
