Join us for Little Bookworms! In this class, students will explore books, sounds, and words while being introduced to early reading skills. Through read-alouds, hands-on centers, small-group activities, and book exploration, children will practice concepts of print, letter–sound relationships, early writing, and blending sounds to form simple words. This class will give students exposure to foundational literacy skills while helping foster confidence and a positive connection to reading.
My children absolutely LOVED this camp! This was our first year attending and we attended for the last three weeks. I/we wished we had known about this camp earlier in the year. We will not miss the opportunity to sign up for the entire summer! The kids looked forward to getting to the camp every day and couldn’t stop talking about their activities when they came home.
