The Storybook Summer class is designed for students entering grade 1 in the fall. Students will become immersed in literature working on their reading comprehension and storytelling. Students will understand the essential elements to a story including characters, setting, problem and solution. Along with increasing their comprehension, students will continue to grow their love of literature by creating their own stories. They will bring famous stories, including their own, to life through art, acting and movement.

My children absolutely LOVED this camp! This was our first year attending and we attended for the last three weeks. I/we wished we had known about this camp earlier in the year. We will not miss the opportunity to sign up for the entire summer! The kids looked forward to getting to the camp every day and couldn’t stop talking about their activities when they came home.
