How to Design a Stage Set – Session 2
Have you ever thought about how much the setting of a scene affects the entire show? Students will use a TV show or play that they love to learn about the complex marriage of art and utility in set design. They will plan and sketch a stage layout, build a model, and decorate it with details to bring their vision to life.

While there is no supply kit offered for this program, there are recommended materials that your camper may like to have readily available:
- Pencil and paper
- Craft scissors
- Recycled cardboard boxes, plastic water bottles, aluminum foil, take-out containers, etc.
- Duct tape, either in fun colors or patterns or tape that can be painted or colored by hand
- Craft glue
- Coloring supplies, such as acrylic paint, markers, colored pencils, sharpies, etc.
- Pipe cleaners, pom-poms, glitter, or any other craft supplies they like to use
