Patrice Wade, SHES Co-Director
Patrice is a graduate of James Madison University and has recently completed her graduate studies at George Mason University. Patrice has been working with Congressional Schools and Camps since 2010. During the school year, she is a middle school ESOL teacher within the Fairfax County Public School System. Patrice is a cheerful and outgoing leader who loves designing creative experiences for young children. Patrice enjoys taking on new challenges and adventures, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Cheryl holds a Masters degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Mixed Media Art & Bookmaking, and is currently completing her National Board Certification. Cheryl is returning for her eleventh year at Congressional Camp and has served in a variety of roles and responsibilities. During the school year, she is a high school Art teacher and department chair at Brentsville District High School in Prince William County Schools. She is also an instructor at The Center for the Arts in Manassas, and is currently serving as the Regional President for the Virginia Art Education Association. Cheryl enjoys creating her own artwork, is an avid reader, loves to travel and donates her time and talents in the support of local charities and organizations.
