About

The Slide into Second Grade class is designed for students entering Grade 2 in the fall. Students will engage in all subject areas as they participate in this project based class. Students will work collaboratively to design and build a large scale project (e.g. city, theme park, zoo). Students will enhance their planning, building and inventing skills as they are guided by their teacher through inquiry based learning. During this class, students will work on their critical thinking skills, problem solving and teamwork. Through reviewing all subject areas, students will feel confident and ready for second grade!

My children absolutely LOVED this camp! This was our first year attending and we attended for the last three weeks. I/we wished we had known about this camp earlier in the year. We will not miss the opportunity to sign up for the entire summer! The kids looked forward to getting to the camp every day and couldn’t stop talking about their activities when they came home.
