About

The Young Storytellers class is designed for students entering grade 2 and 3 in the fall. Throughout the class, students will dive deep into literature working on reading comprehension, character analysis and understanding author’s purpose. In addition to analyzing literature students will become storytellers of their own, working on key writing concepts such as beginning, middle and end, setting, and character development. Young Storytellers will be taught using a variety of engaging and interactive lessons encouraging students to develop a love for literature while focusing on key writing and reading skills. Class meets during the camp day from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Campers will be brought from their group and delivered back to their group upon completion of class.

My children absolutely LOVED this camp! This was our first year attending and we attended for the last three weeks. I/we wished we had known about this camp earlier in the year. We will not miss the opportunity to sign up for the entire summer! The kids looked forward to getting to the camp every day and couldn’t stop talking about their activities when they came home.
