Day Camp

Our most popular and longest-running program.

ZMC F

Day Camp includes activities like outdoor ed, sports, arts, horseback riding, archery, swimming, and many more that fit into a weekly schedule. The camp day runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and is often supplemented with theme days and special events. Campers are sure to come home every day tired, a little bit dirty, and full of adventures to share.

Campers are placed into co-ed groups based on the grade they will enter in the Fall. Every group is led by at least one adult Lead Counselor and Junior Counselor. Primary and Freshman groups will also be assisted by a CIT.

Overnights

Congressional Day Camp offers limited-space overnights a few times throughout the summer for an added cost. Parents will receive an email with details and a link to sign up in advance. Dinner, activities, and breakfast are provided, though campers must bring their own toiletries and sleeping bags/pillows/blankets, etc. Overnights are themed and take place mainly in our gymnasium. Previous themes have included Gold Rush Overnight, Scooby Doo Mystery Overnight, and Casino Night.

Drop-off & Pick-up

Drop-off is from 8:45 – 9:15 and pick-up is from 3:45 – 4:15. Parents/guardians must have a name card placed on the vehicle’s dashboard to be visible through the windshield. CITs will assist with opening car doors and guiding younger campers to their groups during drop-off. At pick-up, we will radio for your camper(s) when you pull into the school and a counselor or CIT will walk them to the appropriate car. If the camper’s parent/guardian does not arrive by 4:15, they will be brought inside to EHP.

*Bus and EHP campers will be brought to their respective locations by a counselor after packing up
