We know that a safe and supportive environment is imperative to having days full of adventures and fun.

The safety of our campers and counselors is our top priority. Policies and procedures are under constant review and are subject to updates when necessary to improve the well-being of those in the community and to elevate the experiences of campers.

Our Health Office is led by year-round nurses Caitlin McKearmey and Meredith Stevens. They are joined by a seasonal Health team in the summer that oversees the day-to-day needs at camp. You can reach our nurses via campnurse@congocamp.org or 703.533.9711 ext. 224 and find medical forms below.

Security is present at the entrance to campus and is trained to deal with any suspicious activity or unknown visitors. A placard or tag distributed by Congressional is required to enter campus at all times.

Congressional is accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools and the American Camp Association and is licensed by the Virginia Department of Education as a Child Day Care Center.
