Can lightning strike the same place twice? Will a hot sidewalk actually fry an egg? What really happens if you swallow your chewing gum? It’s time to find out if myths like these make sense, or just go bust. Mythbusters invites curious campers to put popular myths, legends, and everyday questions to the test through hands-on experimentation. Throughout the week, campers will design and run their own investigations as they explore topics like physics, chemistry, engineering, and general science. From testing whether certain “life hacks” really work to recreating classic Mythbusters-style challenges, participants will learn how to make predictions, collect data, and analyze results in a fun and engaging way.

Campers will also visit the Congressional Camp pool twice a week.
