Day in the Life
Although no camp day is ever the same, here you can find a rough outline of a regular schedule!
The arrangement of activities and pool will change based on whether it is an Orange, Green, or Blue day. Age divisions eat at different times; the schedule below shows Freshman lunch time.

8:45 – 9:15 // Drop-off
- Grab your group folder, group sign, walkie-talkie, and sunscreen bag, and wait at your group’s location at Mulch Meadows for your campers to arrive
- Fill out your attendance sheet as campers come in
9:15 – 9:25 // All Camp Assembly
- Keep eyes on all your campers and listen up for the Morning Assembly
- Line up and head to your first activity
9:30 – 10:05 // Activity 1
- Make sure your group is listening and respectful to the specialist
- Let the specialist conduct their activity but be fully attentive
- Help clean up and transition to the next activity
10:05 – 10:40 // Activity 2
- Same procedure applies!
10:40 – 10:55 // Morning Snack
- Grab your group’s snack bag and fuel up wherever you want!
- Pass out snack to each camper and make sure to accommodate allergies
- Encourage your kids to hydrate and stop by the bathrooms to wash hands before moving on
10:55 – 11:30 // Activity 3
- You know the drill!
- Wash hands before lunch!
11:30 – 12:05 // Lunch
- Sit your group at the two tables you claim on the first day of the session
- Ensure all your campers are eating and hydrating
- Establish expectations for cleanliness and good behavior while eating
- Assign a couple of campers to wipe down the tables; leave the cafeteria cleaner than you found it!!
- Wash hands!
12:10 – 12:45 // Activity 4
- Reapply sunscreen to campers if needed and be enthusiastic for the next activity
12:50 – 2:00 // Pool
- Tell your group to get their pool clothes/towels/etc and make your way to the locker rooms to get ready
- Follow the requests of the lifeguards and pool staff
- One counselor per group must be on the pool deck at all times watching campers
- Enjoy a small break while your campers swim but don’t leave out those who decided not to get in!
- Once the lifeguards whistle for your group to get out, make sure your group listens and heads back to the locker rooms to change
- Periodically check in the locker rooms for younger campers to make sure everything is running smoothly; little ones might need help changing
2:00 – 2:20 // Afternoon Snack
- Snack up anywhere and make your kids hydrate!
2:20 – 2:55 // Activity 5
- Supervise and respect specialists!
2:55 – 3:30 // Activity 6
- Last one!
3:30 – 3:40 // Pack-up
- Leave your last activity on time to pack-up and clean up your group’s space
3:40 – 3:45 // Transition to Pick-up/Bus/EHP
- Line up and wait for your group to get called
- Once called, one counselor will take parent pick-up kids to the front lawn
- The other counselor will take bus kids to the courtyard, and then make their way to parent pick-up to help. EHP counselors will get their kids.
- Make sure your sunscreen bag, snack bag, and group sign get returned
3:45 – 4:15 // Pick-up
- Listen on the walkie-talkie for your campers to get called and walk them to their car
- Check them off on the attendance sheet once they have left
- If a camper does not get picked up by 4:15, walk them inside to EHP
- Return your walkie-talkie and group folder
- Head home!
