About the role The Camp Registrar supports the operations of Congressional Camp by managing camper registration, family communication, and administrative coordination. This role serves as the primary point of contact for families regarding enrollment and billing during the summer months, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from registration to the start of camp.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of camp registration using the camp’s registration software.
Maintain accurate camper records, medical forms, and required pre-camp paperwork.
Communicate professionally with families regarding enrollment, waitlists, and policies.
Collaborate with the year-round leadership team to ensure accurate data collection and reporting
Coordinate with the Health Office to verify and track required camper health information and paperwork.
Process payments, refunds, and account adjustments in collaboration with the Business Office
Provide administrative support during the camp season, including roster updates, attendance. tracking, and daily camper check-ins.
Support marketing and outreach efforts by providing registration statistics and customer service feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience coordinating youth programs.
MAT (or able to obtain), Pediatric First Aid/CPR.
Excellent logistics, vendor coordination, and family communication skills.
Organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable outdoors/onsite all day.
Eligibility: Must be 18+ by the first day of employment and able to pass required background/screening checks per School and Virginia regulations.
